Ingredients
Instructions
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels, then season both sides with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer the chicken to a plate.
- Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter to the same skillet. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the skillet to release the browned bits.
- Add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Stir well and simmer for 3–4 minutes, until the sauce becomes creamy and slightly thickened.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the creamy garlic sauce over the top. Simmer for 2–3 minutes so the chicken absorbs the flavors.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm with rice, pasta, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread.
Notes
- For the creamiest sauce, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Avoid boiling the cream sauce too vigorously to keep it smooth and silky.
