Ingredients
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and add the Italian seasoning. Stir and simmer gently for 2–3 minutes.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
- Season with salt and black pepper. If the sauce is too thick, gradually add some of the reserved pasta water until you reach the desired consistency.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until it is evenly coated with the creamy Parmesan sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately while warm.
Notes
- For the smoothest and creamiest sauce, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese and add it gradually over low heat. If the sauce becomes too thick, stir in a little reserved pasta water until it reaches the desired consistency.
